Its not for certain exactly where Euless, Texas Trinity standout Brandon Carter will play for the Sooners once he arrives to Norman but rest assured they'll find a place for him. He's too fast and too talented to not be on the field somewhere.
Carter is being recruited as an athlete which means he's capable of playing more than one position adequately. His senior season at Trinity he rushed for over 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns while also averaging 15.8 yards per reception in leading the Trojans to the Texas 5A Division I state championship game.
He turned down offers from Duke, Minnesota, Tulsa and Wake Forest to come to Oklahoma. Rivals has him ranked as the 48th athlete prospect in the nation and the 72nd best recruit in the state of Texas. He committed to come to Oklahoma in June.
