The women had by far their most dominant performance of the young season with the 94-45 win last night over Sam Houston State. The Sooners were lead not by the usual suspects in Danielle Robinson or Aaryn Ellenberg, but instead freshman Morgan Hook celebrated her coming out party with 25 points while setting an OU freshman record by hitting seven three pointers. Hook would finish 7-9 from three and 9-12 from the field over all, scoring her 25 points in just 22 minutes.
Hook was joined in double figures by Robinson (17), Ellenberg (12), freshman center Nicole Griffin (10), and Lauren Willis (10).
The Sooners will face their first real test this Sunday when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to face a top 10 Ohio State team. The game will be on the Big 10 Network at 5 p.m., so if you get that channel I'd highly recommend you tune in and watch our Lady Sooners!
