OU Football - Dynamic freshman RB Roy Finch to miss Fiesta Bowl

In what can only be described as incredibly disappointing news, OU RB Roy Finch has been ruled out of the Fiesta Bowl after suffering an injury in practice on Friday.  You may remember that an injury to his foot/ankle was what delayed his debut for the Sooners and now he has apparently re-injured that same foot/ankle.  It's being reported as a stress fracture and Finch is believed to have had surgery on Saturday to insert two pins into said foot/ankle.

Goes without saying it really, really sucks for a kid to get hurt before an opportunity to play in his first BCS bowl game as a true freshman.  Sooner Nation is wishing you a speedy recovery Roy!!!
