Last week, while trailing 13-3 at the half, Texas coach Mack Brown said that, "Football games aren't won, they're lost." Of course Brown's Longhorns went on to lose that game (Guess UCLA didn't win it) 34-12 causing Texas to get one foot out of the Top 25 door and providing the opportunity for the Sooners to slam that door shut. Of course true to Texas form, it wasn't the Longhorns' fault that they lost.
"Penalties are going to happen. You can't stop them. Whatever the referees want to call, they're going to call. You just have to line up as players and play." - Eddie Jones
"Yeah, I'm surprised. A lot of them (penalties) are judgment (calls). But I don't have any comment on anything they (officials) do." - Will Muschamp
"Horrible penalties. but they called them on us and that's what it is. We'll go home, look at them and try to correct them."- Mack Brown On Saturday
"The way I understand the rules I can't say anything. They won't let me address it good or bad... One of the tough things for coaches, when we do see something and a kid is accused of something and we think it's unfair, we can't comment. I can't comment on that game."
"It's a very emotional game. There's a lot of talking in that game, pushing and shoving in that game. And we ended up on the worse end of that." - Mack Brown On Monday
