We'd be lying to ourselves if we denied the fact that we got caught up in the hype of the #1 BCS ranking and elevated the Sooners to being better than they actually were. All of the struggles and mistakes from earlier in the season reared their ugly heads Saturday night in Columbia and Oklahoma was completely out played by Missouri. Congrats to the Tigers!
It goes without saying that this is a big loss for the Sooners but I wouldn't jump off that cliff just yet. Still a lot left to play for and the Sooners are still in the driver's seat for the Big 12 South. Time to regroup and get ready for Colorado next week.
