Aaron Colvin Commits To Sooners

I’m not a big fan of recruits going on television shows and making a spectacle of their decision as to where they are going to play football. I find it to be a bit disrespectful to the coaches from opposing schools that were in the recruiting hunt as well. However, that’s the world we live in and you can score another defensive recruit to Oklahoma’s 2010 class.

Aaron Colvin is a three-star defensive back, as ranked by Rivals, from Owasso, Oklahoma. He stands at 6-0/180 and runs a 4.4 forty. He becomes the Sooners fourth in-state commitment for the 2010 class. Regionally Colvin was a coveted prospect with OU, OSU, Tulsa, Missouri and North Texas all making offers to him but in the end OU was the choice. Defensive back’s coach, Bobby Jack Wright, was the lead recruiter for the Sooners on Colvin.
