Oklahoma will face BYU in the first game of the season on national television. The game is slated to begin at 6 PM on ESPN. This will be one of the first games played at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. This will also be OU's fifth consecutive game viewed by a national audience.

Also, it appears that the OU vs. Tulsa game at Owen Field in Norman will begin at 2:30 PM, and be broadcast on Fox Sports Net.

For those of you who enjoy the early starts to the Red River Rivalry game, it got slated for the 11 AM time slot and will be broadcast on ABC. Not a whole lot of surprises in the times or coverage.

No word yet on the time or channel for any of the other games. I would suspect that the Idaho State game will be a pay-per-view deal. Call it a gut feeling, but I also think we'll get ABC/ESPN for Miami, Nebraska and Oklahoma State, with at least one of those being a night game.

Source on the three announced games was Sooner Sports.
