Today a #2 seed already received a scare when Cal-State Northridge was leading Memphis 62-56 with not long to go in the game. Memphis managed to pull ahead for an eventual victory. Also disconcerting: that game happened in Kansas City. The other game? A 10-7 upset with Maryland taking down California.
Hopefully Kansas City doesn't turn into the upset city of the tournament (there's usually one that stands out).
