Snapping A Four Game Losing Streak Against Ranked Opponents Lands OU At #22

It was a rough weekend for Big 12 schools as only three teams remained ranked a day after upsets were as abundant as Bevo droppings in Austin. Only Texas (#3), OSU (#13) and Oklahoma (#22) remain in the AP Top 25. For the Sooners it was a crucial weekend as they were, and still are, on the verge of dropping from the poll with another loss. However, by way of a 35-13 drubbing over then 24th ranked Kansas Oklahoma was able to remain ranked by the AP and move just a little further from the edge. Saturday's win also marked the end of a losing streak to ranked opponents that stretched four games (Florida, BYU, Miami, Texas).
