Oklahoma's baseball team improved to 8-2 on the season by outscoring North Dakota State 37-6 in a three game sweep Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The Sooners used 44 hits to score their 37 runs and bump their winning streak to five in a row.
Now the Sooners are preparing for a four game weekend series against Western Illinois. OU will play Friday afternoon, two on Saturday and the final game on Sunday. The probable pitchers for OU this weekend are Chase Anderson (Friday), Garrett Richards and freshman sensation Michael Rocha (Saturday), Jeremy Erben (Sunday).
Oklahoma is off to a good start to the season and a weekend sweep would allow them to have won their last nine games in a row. When you have a team as young as this one is momentum is everything and at least for now the Sooners are rolling in it.
