Everyone thought it would be a third matchup between Oklahoma and Baylor. Well Colorado had a different idea, beating Baylor, 91-84 in 2 OT's. This is the first time in Big 12 Tournament history that a 12 has beaten a 5. I was all ready to watch a third classic between Oklahoma/Baylor but a rematch with Colorado will do fine.
The Buffs are lead by Richard Roby, who almost single handily beat the Bears yesterday. Roby played the entire 50 minutes scoring 32 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Containing the 6'6" Roby will be key to the Sooners chances for a victory. Marcus Hall, a 6'2" guard, added 25 points and 10 assists in the win over Baylor.
Oklahoma will have the size advantage with the Griffin's and Longar inside. Colorado has one player over 6'7". Guard play today will be key for the Sooner to be able to advance to the Semifinals tomorrow. Tony Crocker, Austin Johnson, and David Godbold need to continue to shoot the ball well as well as keeping Roby and Hall in check.
Update [2008-3-14 16:17:59 by Jubanator14]:: Sorry for the delay in getting this up but Cox was doing work on the Cable in my neighborhood so that meant no internet. The score is currently OU 34 Colorado 30 with 13:30 to go in the 2nd half.
