Tommy Mason-Griffin Heads Oklahoma’s New Basketball Recruits

Jeff Capel continues to draw top ranked talent to Norman. Oklahoma’s falls signing period yielded the 14th ranked class by Scout.com. Three of OU’s four commitments are ranked as top-100 players led by point guard Tommy Mason Griffin who is ranked at the number 3 point guard and the country’s 24th overall player.

 

Oklahoma’s New Signees

 

Andrew Fitzgerald 6-8, 260, F, Wolfeboro, N.H. – Fitzgerald is a top-100 rated player who averaged 21.0 points, 18.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocked shots for Brewster Academy.

 

Kyle Hardrick 6-8, 230, F, Oklahoma City, Okla. – Hardrick is a four star recruit who is ranked as the 22nd center in the country by Rivals.

 

Tommy Mason-Griffin 5-10, 205, G, Houston, Texas – Mason-Griffin averaged 23.1 points (26.6 in the playoffs) and 7.0 assists per game last year for Houston’s James Madison high school.

Steven Pledger

6-4, 190, G, Chesapeake, Va. – Ranked as the nation’s 28th shooting guard by Scout, Pledger averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game for Atlantic Shores Christian School. He shot .540 from the field, .488 from 3-point distance and .820 from the free throw line.
