Oklahoma fans have to double as Texas Tech Red Raider fans for the next few weeks. Any hope that the Sooners have at winning their third consecutive Big 12 championship die tonight with a Texas win over the Red Raiders because it eliminates the possibility of a three-way tie among Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech with the BCS standings as the tie breaker. Basically, if Tech looses tonight the only other way Oklahoma can make the conference championship would be for the Longhorns to lose two of their final three games.

Before we go to national games there is one more local game that deserves mention. Tulsa is 8-0 and ranked 19th in the country. The Golden Hurricane will be playing at Arkansas this afternoon at 1:00.
Now, who do I want to watch on a national level this afternoon? Alabama is ranked ahead of the Sooners but I have absolutely no desire to see them play Arkansas State. Florida/Georgia should be a good game because the loser will be eliminated from the BCS championship race and most likely the conference race.
