The first BCS standing came out a mere minutes ago and there are very few surprises.
Texas and Alabama are the overwhelming 1 & 2 in the polls. The surprise is how close that Oklahoma is to Penn St. I am chalking that up to the fact that Penn St. hasn't really played anyone while Oklahoma has wins over two of the teams currently in the BCS poll.
Florida being all the way at 10 means that the computer are really punishing them for losing at home to Ole Miss.
Also we have three potential teams from non BCS conferences that could make it to the big games in #11 Utah, #12 Boise St., and even 1-loss #14 TCU.
So here are the first standings but there is a lot of season left to play with several matchups between highly ranked BCS teams this weekend, these standings are sure to shake up several more times.
