The Sooners have a short week this week as they travel up the turnpike to play the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. It's a great "recruiting trip" for OU with all the high school recruits in the Tulsa area. However, this trip will be about more than just the recruits as the Sooners will be challenged by what could be the best team they've faced so far.

Offensively Tulsa will challenge Oklahoma's secondary more than any other team has this season. Paul Smith is a talented quarterback with speedy targets in Trae Johnson, Charles Clay and Cameron Clemons.
Defensively the Golden Hurricanes are giving up 486 yards per game, 301.5 through the air. Other than making their first appearance on the road the OU offense shouldn't have any worries against the TU defense. Look for Tulsa to possibly score more points than the OU defense is allowing on average but also for the Sooner offensive machine to keep rolling.
