The Oklahoma baseball team got off to a shaky start Tuesday against TCU in Norman. The Frogs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning but then OU quickly ended any hopes of a TCU upset in Norman with their turn at the plate in the bottom of the first when the Sooners cranked out 7 runs of their own.
From that point the Sooners didn't look back on their way to cruising to a 13-5 victory to increase their midweek record to 7-0 this season.
The Sooners tallied 14 hits on the day and batted around in the first inning. The Baylor Bears are next for the Sooners in a series that begins Thursday in Waco. Thursday night's game will be televised live on CSTV at 7:00pm.
OU needs to sweep the Bears this weekend which would put them on a five game winning streak going into a heavy schedule next week that features a game at Wichita State, then home games against Dallas Baptist and the Nebraska Corn Huskers.
