Some Sooner fans just don't have the ability to look on the bright side. In football, Texas pulls off one of the biggest choke jobs in recent history giving OU their spot in the Big 12 Championship resulting in the Sooners' 4th conference championship since 2000. However it wasn't good enough for some because the Sooners lost the Fiesta Bowl.
In basketball, our leading scorer plays for Villanova and our leading rebounder and shot blocker plays for Texas. Despite that OU has produced a competitive basketball team that gave us home wins against OSU and Texas Tech. However, it wasn't good enough for some because our rookie Big 12 head coach isn't getting to the NCAA Tournament.
This goes out to all you pessimist out there. The next time you get the urge to criticize our beloved Sooners I want you remember this guy and be thankful that you're not a Cowboy, boy.
