Alright, here's the deal. I am in South America and won't be home for at least another four days. Internet connection is iffy at best so I thought I would make the most of this hot spot that I found.
OU did have their first scrimmage of the spring on Wednesday and obviously I missed it. I am just now getting the opportunity to take a peek at the stats which I'm sure that most of you saw for the first time Wednesday night.
It looks like DeMarco Murray was the star this go around with Allen Patrick watching from the sideline. He will be a dangerous weapon for the Sooners this season lining up both in the backfield and at the slot position.
The obvious story is the quarterbacks in which case I'll say take absolutely nothing away from this scrimmage concerning that position. That decision will not be made until the fall.
