Huge Win for Baseball

OU's 2-4 start to the baseball season is quickly fading in light of the Sooners' current four game winning streak. The most recent victim in the streak was the #11 Wichita State Shockers.

The Sooners (6-4) rallied last night to beat the Shockers (8-3) by a score of 5-4 on Joe  Dunigan's two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The OU baseball team is gelling as they get more experience on the diamond. Their next five games are in Norman and then they are home for five more after the Aztec Invitational March 9-11.  This weekend's home stand is against UC Riverside and then Creighton comes to town Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

It is not unrealistic to expect the Sooners to be 11-4 when they travel to San Diego March 9th.
