OKLAHOMA PROJECTED STARTERS
F  24  Nate Carter (6-6, 220, Sr., 11.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg)
C  30  Longar Longar (6-11, 228, Jr., 11.6 ppg, 7.5 rpg)

G  11  Kellen Sampson (6-1, 186, Sr., 1.5 ppg, 0.5 rpg)

Kelvin Sampson makes his return to Norman tonight to watch his son, Kellen, get the start as the Sooners honor their seniors. Unfortunately the seniors have to go out against the Kansas Jayhawks where they just don't match up at all. I'm not saying that a Sooner win is impossible. I'm just saying that it is highly unlikely.

Sooner Scoop
Michael Neal and Nate Carter will take the floor in Norman for the last time tonight and have the opportunity to make their senior night one of the most memorable in OU history.

Neal scored seven points (all in the second half) against Texas. He ranks third on the team in scoring with his 10.2 points per game and also supplies 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting .304 from beyond the arc.

Carter is coming off a 13-point effort against Texas.  He was 5-for-8 from the free throw line after making 56 of his previous 58 attempts in Big 12 action.

Despite losing by ten points to Texas on Saturday OU still set a Big 12 Conference record for field goal defense in a half by holding the Longhorns to 2 0f 14 shooting from the floor.

Scouting the Jayhawks
Brandon Rush scores a team-high 13.8 points a game and ranks second with his 5.6 rebounds per game.  Mario Chalmers averages 11.6 points, 3.1 assists and leads the conference with 2.6 steals a contest. Julian Wright also contributes 11.6 points a game and leads the team in rebounding (8) and assists (2.1). Darrell Arthur averages 10.9 points, 5.2 rebounds per game. Sherron Collins is averaging 10.0 points and 2.9 assists as well as shooting a team-high .441 from 3-point range (41-for-93).

Outlook and Prediction
The Jayhawks are playing the best ball in the conference right now but four of their last six wins were over the four worst teams in the conference. I would love to say that the Sooners had a shot at winning but if the same OU team that we have seen the last four games takes the floor tonight then the losing streak will extend to five games.

OU needs the perfect game along with Kansas playing their absolute worst for a Sooner win tonight. I would love to see it happen, I'm just not hopeful that I'm going to.  Jayhawks win 77-59.
