The Sooners are coming off a good win against Arkansas on Saturday but will take a large step up in competition tonight against the Bulldogs. This is the type of game that will be used to measure progress. So far against Top 25 team (Memphis and USC) OU has dropped double-digit losses. However, this is practically a home court for the Sooners. Except for the Oklahoma State fans who will linger after their game against ORU the crowd should mostly be in favor of OU. I'm going to go ahead and step up and say that if this team has improved then they should play within 10 points of Gonzaga if not beat them straight up.
Bulldogs guard Matt Bouldin is averaging a team-high 13.3 points per game along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Forward Austin Daye is averaging 12.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game along with 2.2 blocked shots. Guard Jeremy Pargo scores 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and leads the team in assists per game 5.7. Guard Micah Downs (You may remember him from his days at Kansas) is averaging 10.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He is also shooting .392 from three point range. Forward David Pendergraft contributes 9.2 points per game and 5.0 rebounds.
