After a somewhat impressive 71-55 win over San Francisco last night in their opening game of the 2K College Hoops Challenge benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer Oklahoma will play Denver tonight for a chance to take on #3 Memphis in New York next week.
At times last night the Sooners looked really good. At other times they looked really bad and yet other times they just looked mediocre. Turnovers led to missed opportunities. Missed free throws missed to led to points being left unscored and a failure to dominate on the boards led to second chance points for the Dons. All of these are areas where OU needs to improve beginning tonight.
The Denver Pioneers survived East Central last night 76-75 in overtime. They were led in scoring by freshman forward Rob Lewis who put up 19 points and 4 rebounds against East Central.
