Curtis Lofton's 133 tackles are more than any player has ever recorded in a single season during the Bob Stoops era. Twice this season he has been named the conference's defensive player of the week and he also set the school record for number of double-digit tackle games with 8 including a season best 18 tackle performance against Missouri. Wednesday Lofton was named as the Big 12's defensive player of the year by the Associated Press.

Simply put Curtis Lofton is the Best Linebacker to play for the Sooners since Stoops arrived in Norman. Well at least that's how I feel. Tell us how you feel by voting in the poll on the right sidebar.
