The rash of injuries for the Oklahoma Sooners was swift and severe Saturday night in Lubbock. As it turns out going to west Texas really was like traveling to the Twilight Zone because the Sooners will be haunted by this game for a long time.
According to the unofficial injury report Sam Bradford and defensive end Alan Davis suffered from concussions. Receiver Adron Tennell tore an ACL. Most alarmingly DeMarco Murray went down with a dislocated knee cap on OU's onside kick attempt.
Davis was filling in for Austin English who may be back next week. The severity of Bradford's concussion wasn't made known public and Tennell was the fourth receiver on the depth chart at best but Murray was the playmaker amongst a team of playmakers.
While the report was unofficial Bob Stoops did say in the post game interview that all of the injuries suffered by the Sooners were, "significant." What was a bad night just got worse!
