ESPN.com reported on Friday that Guy Morris won't be back as Baylor's football coach in 2008. Of course Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw is denying the report but once something like this leaks out its impossible to contain. Morris becomes the second Big 12 coach to be notified publicly that he won't be retained for next season joining Texas A&M's Dennis Franchione. For some reason we are still waiting for Nebraska to make an announcement about Bill Callahan. I just can't see what the Corn Huskers gain by waiting but I digress.
Unlike Fran and Callahan Guy Morris is liked by all of his players meaning that they'll most likely play with extra motivation Saturday night against the Sooners.
