Curtis Lofton Earns Big 12 Player of the Week Award

Linebacker Curtis Lofton was huge in Oklahoma's 41-31 win over Missouri on Saturday night. Lofton's performance, that included 18 tackles and a 12 yard fumble return for a touchdown, is being acknowledged as the best in the conference as a defender.

Lofton's player of the week award is the third this season given to a Sooner defender (Reggie Smith has won the award twice this season) and the fourth overall player of the week award for an Oklahoma football player this season.

Other players earning the POTW award were OSU's Dantrell Savage (offense) and KSU's  Brooks Rossman (Special Teams).
