Before we go off celebrating Oklahoma's biggest win of the season we have give it up to the Missouri Tigers for playing such an amazing game. The game wasn't as close as the final score, 41-31, and there are numerous things that should concern Sooner fans despite knocking off a previously unbeaten team that had been knocking on the door of the top 10. Things like, why the Oklahoma Sooners can't kick an extra point!
We'll get into more specifics tomorrow but for now let's just say that on a night where the defense would face its strongest challenge of the season it would be the defensive unit that sealed the deal with Curtis Lofton's 12 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown and Nic Harris' late interception setting up Chris Brown to drive the final nail in the coffin.
For now celebrate the win and understand that this is a team that the Sooners won't want to face again in the Big 12 Conference game but are likely to. With LSU and Cal going down in flames Oklahoma could find themselves ranked as high as #3 on Sunday afternoon.
Again, there is still a lot to play for this season and I'm talking more than Big 12 Championship. OU is officially back in the BCS mix!
