OU was picked to finish fifth in the conference by the coaches this week. It is the same spot they were picked to finish last season when they placed third in the conference and came within a game of reaching the College World Series.

Returning Catchers
The catcher position will be a strength for the Sooners this season with the return of Jackson Williams. This will be Williams' third season behind the plate at Oklahoma and he has appeared in 120 games in his first two seasons as a Sooner.
Behind Williams the Sooners are still strong with Brandon Moss who appeared behind the plate in 12 games last season.
