The Return of Michael Neal

OU 70 - Nebraska 53
We thought that possibly Michael Neal got his stroke back Saturday with a solid performance against Texas but he proved us right tonight with a 20 point performance against Nebraska. Neal shot 60% from beyond the arch (6-10). He also dished out 3 assists and grabbed five rebounds.

Nate Carter also put in another impressive performance with 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting. His play inside against Nebraska was not only needed but also as impressive as I've seen him this year.

OU's defensive was dominating once again as well. The Sooners held Nebraska to 34% shooting from the floor, forced 11 turnovers and swatted 4 shots. This was a game when everything came together both offensively and defensively and the Sooners rolled.

ends of the floor!

The Seniors are starting to take leadership of the team and things are beginning to click offensively. OU has had the hustle and defensive intensity for a while now but offensive output hasn't really been their thing to this point.

Saturday marks the return of Longar which means another defensive presence on the floor, another rebounder and with Neal finally back in stride Longer could become a more dangerous threat as a scoring option. He's already the team's leading scorer but if the Sooners can get the inside-outside game working on a regular basis his scoring average will go up.
