Sooner Scoop
The Sooners will be without Longar Longar again as he sets out his second and final game of his suspension. Taylor Griffin stepped up huge in Longar's absence scoring 15 points, grabbing six rebounds, 2 steals and 2 swats. OU will need a repeat performance from him and the continued aggressive play of Nate Carter. Carter averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds prior to Big 12 play, but leads OU with his 15.3 points and 7.7 rebounds over the Sooners' three conference games.

Scouting the Huskers
Center Aleks Maricc is averaging 18.2 points and 7.9 rebounds while shooting .622 from the field. He could give OU fits inside with the absence of Longar. Guard Ryan Anderson is second on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.5 points and 5 boards. Guard Jamel White averages 10.4 points and 3.1 assists per game. Guard Sek Henry averages 8.7 points a game and point guard Charles Richardson averages 8.5 points and ranks second in the conference in assists per game (6.1). Guard Marcus Perry averages 8.2 points per game and leads the team in 3-point shooting (47%).

Official Machine Prediction
It could be a long night if OU can't contain Maric. However, if the Sooners play with the same intensity and hustle they had Saturday at Texas they could sneak out with a win. I'll pick the later and go with a 67-62 OU win. Boomer Sooner!!!
