Corey Wilson Commits

Corey Wilson, Travis Wilson's younger brother, has committed to play football for the Sooners. Wilson is ranked as 28th receiver in the nation, according to rivals.com, and his stock continues to rise.

The 6-0, 184-pound receiver runs a 4.47 second 40-yard-dash and has been confident about his commitment to Oklahoma since mid-summer.

"Probably since midway through the summer," Wilson said. "I kind of had it in my head that I was going to commit. I just wanted to see if any other schools were going to make a push for it or provide anything better and there really wasn't."

Wilson made his commitment after visiting Oklahoma last weekend for the MTSU game.
"(Stoops) asked me how my trip went and if I had a good time," Wilson said of his conversation with Stoops on his visit. "He asked me if I was any closer to my decision and I said 'Yes I would like to commit.'"

He becomes the 9th commitment for the Sooners for the 2007 recruiting class.
