In what has become a weekly tradition the Sooners move up just one spot after a win. The Sooners have won five games in a row and currently have the longest winning streak. At this rate it will take Oklahoma another six weeks to reach the top 10.
I can't make anymore excuses for the obvious bias against the Sooners. Wake Forest jumped from 18 to 14 after beating Florida State? Who hasn't beaten Florida State? Why are they suddenly getting love? Auburn has the same number of losses as the Sooners and yet they were blown-out by an unranked Georgia team yesterday. Texas also lost to unranked Kansas State and before you reach for the Colt McCoy excuse let me remind you that he doesn't play defense. The Longhorns gave up 45 points to the Wildcats.
Keep in mind that both of Oklahoma's losses were to ranked teams and away from home.
I'm just to the point where I don't get it. OU wins five in a row and has barely moved. However, I have a feeling that if the Sooners had lost to an unranked team yesterday like some of these other schools did that they would find themselves out of the Top 25.
