Brigham Young quarterback Max Hall dislocated the ring finger on his throwing hand during a scrimmage Monday. Hall had the finger popped back into place and resumed practicing. While icing his hand after practice, he hold reporters he would be fine.
The Sooners open with BYU on Sept. 5 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
As they prepare for that game, the Cougars have had bad luck with injuries this fall, especially on the offensive line, where they only return one starter.
That lone returning starter, left tackle Matt Reynolds, underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left hand last week and is questionable to return in time for the OU game.
Last week, the Cougars lost projected starting left guard Jason Speredon to a season-ending shoulder injury.
