More Sooners on Award Watch Lists

As the 2008 football season approaches (at a snail's pace) three more Oklahoma football players have been added a postseason award watch list. Defensive end Auston English, defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger and safety Nic Harris were among 88 players named to the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to college football's defensive player of the year.

Despite missing three games with a fractured ankle English led the Big 12 in sacks last season.

Granger had 35 tackles and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors. Don't get me started on him not playing in the Fiesta Bowl!

Harris was first-team All-Big 12 after recording 74 tackles, forcing two fumbles and intercepting two passes.
