A little snafu in the system prevented this post from going up until today but you know what they say, better late than never. The SBN blogs have been asked to try some new software that allows you to record posts from your cell phone for posting from live events. Well, here's my attempt at it from Oklahoma's Red/White Game.

Very nice

Thanks for the update, CC. I was gonna ask how the LB play was, but sounds like overall the defense performed very well. With the loss of two starting LBs, is there concern? Reports are that Keenan Clayton has really stepped up.

Watched a bit of the orange/white game in Gainseville on ESPN, and 2 of the 3 announcers predicted Texas (which I can't believe) to win the South Division. I realize this is a small sample size, but what the heck is up with that?

Linebackers

They were OK. Ryan Reynolds is 100% healthy and will be the anchor of the unit. Clayton is coming along nicely but may be pushed by some of the JUCO's coming in this summer.

As far as Texas goes I think if they win the south it will be one of Mack Brown's best coaching jobs. They lost two of their stars in Charles and Sweed and their o-line still has a lot to prove. I'm thinking that Texas Tech may be more of a threat this year than Texas.

Tech

game is in Norman so it won't be as tough as it could be had it been in Lubbock. I didn't see who it was but I am sure it was Corso & maybe Desmond Howard who picked Texas which I could see how the base that on how last season ended for both squads. Is it bad that we are breaking down what ESPN was saying about us in mid April? Naw.
