Blake Griffin Out For the Remainder of Regular Season

I'm still gathering information on this but here's what I do know. Blake Griffin suffered a partially torn medial meniscus in his right knee and underwent arthroscopic surgery Sunday morning to repair it. Obviously he will not play Wednesday night against Oklahoma State or even on Saturday against Missouri but they are hopeful that he'll be able to return for post season play.

OU has to win at least one of their remaining two regular season games to stay alive for the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately that means we are relying, now more than ever, on the guards to get it done. They have to step up big time now!

I like our chances
One thing this team is, is resilient.  They have come back from tons this season, especially the guys down front.  I think they can win one of the next two, but without Blake 100%, we cant go too far.

This
completely took away what Saturday's win gave to them. I hate to say this but without Blake Griffin, OU is basically Colorado or Iowa St.

I hope we can win these last two but it will be very difficult. Good luck guys.

I wouldn't put them that low!
Remember, they did beat Texas Tech without Blake. The odds are long against O-State Wednesday night but they do have a fighting chance against Missouri on Saturday.

The
Guards were playing a lot better and Longar was 100%. I am cautiously optimistic.

I may be exaggerating but Mizzou
has like two scholarship players. Besides when OU defeated Tech, they were coming off their most lopsided loss of the season against Kansas and their season was reported to be in a tailspin. The Sooners need a win this week and at OSU would definitely be a stretch, but Missouri at home, that's a different story.
