Oklahoma/Nebraska Basketball Open Thread

Tip Time: 7:05 CST
Location: Lincoln, Neb. | Bob Devaney Center
TV: None
Radio: KRXO FM-107.7 in Oklahoma City, KTBZ AM-1430 in Tulsa, Sirius 143

Getting demolished by Texas on Saturday only put more pressure on the Sooners to win tonight and suddenly a win against Nebraska doesn't seem like a sure thing. The Huskers have a strong disadvantage inside where Blake, Taylor and Longar should have a great night but only if the guards are able to produce.

It has become abundantly clear that in order to beat the Sooners you don't have to shutdown Blake Griffin all you have to do is pressure the guards into sloppy play and recently that hasn't been such a big deal.

A win for the Sooners would lift them off of the NCAA bubble and keep them in contention for the conference's fourth place spot which would give them a bye in the first round of the conference tournament. A loss wouldn't necessarily mean that their NCAA tournament dreams are over but it would definitely mean that they would have more ground to make up and the margin for error becomes very, very slim.

No TV for tonight's game so we'll have to rely on the internet and radio for updates.

Wow
12 first half points! Can you say embarassing?

tied
a Devaney record for the fewest point in the first half.

Savannah State also scored 12 earlier this season.

Listened to it on the radio
and it came down, again, to PG play and not being able to hit shots to take pressure off of Blake. Saturday now became must win or it will be NIT.
