loss
It happens, but this one was ugly, there were a lot of uncalled holds on Ou, and Iglesias made that catch....I still do not see how that call was overturned. Smith should have let that punt go. The O line got dominated. too many dropped balls, However this is just one loss, and OU can still win the conference, Ou should not have lost this game, but this is the reason why we play the games.
Right now I am going to the Gym to work off some frustration, and I will be rooting for K-state to beat texas.
Natl. title hopes may be gone this year but just think of the possibilitys next season. If LSU/florida go 11-1 and USC goes undefeated Ou wont be in the discussion.
Now we all just have to wait and see if this team has the grit and detirmination of last years team, I hope so.

Dang these thoughts
I don't understand how Iglesias' catch was overturned at all. Looked good to me. In any case, I was worried about this game from the beginning (road game, freshman QB), but did not anticipate CU would hold the OU offense under 30 points after OU's performance the first 4 games.

Colorado is one gritty team. This win over OU was similar to their win over CSU, when they came from behind but won on a FG in overtime, I think. CU got the breaks they needed to win.

I'm sick OU lost, but Texas is having problems with K-State today down at the half. If they do indeed lose, this could be "Slaughter Saturday" for top 10 teams with West Virginia having already lost.

Congratulations to the Buffs, and Hawkins (both of them). The Big XII race may get really interesting this year.

Is Malcom Kelly OK?
Did Malcom Kelly even make a catch? I don't recall seeing him in the game at all, except maybe on the first series or so.

kelly
I was wondering that one as well, usually hes a presence, if he were on the field most of the game then there would have been doubleteams and more open receivers.
Hopefully he is back to full strength agaisnt texas.
