TOP 10 reasons OU can't win big games

John Blake doesn't recruit for OU anymore
Mike Stoops left for Arizona and now beats top 20 teams
Coach Stoops, now uses a Halloween mask to now scare opponents
2.5 million dollars lessens the sting of losing
The defense makes big hits only after the opponent has gained 10 yards
The opponent's best receiver can always get behind the OU secondary.
Coach Wilson needs a least two quarters to make adjustments instead of using a supposed beavy of running backs and huge offensive line.
Our backup QB never plays as Stoops pads statistics instead preparing contingency plans.
Our defense likes to make games exciting be letting teams stay in games.
And the number 1 reason OU can't and won't win a BIG game is

The fans, coaches, and athletic department like the feeling of MEDIOCRITY!!

Um, Wow!

I'm completely speechless. A freshman quarterback led team has the opportunity to go 10-2 and win the conference championship and yet that's not good enough.

in response to sooner sense, I would agree with #'s 4, 5, and 6. The other listed items are not objective rather frustration/venting. Your #1 is ridiculous. I think it was Coach Switzer who said that "sooner fans were spoiled". But he also said "defense wins championships". Ou current coaches should spend some time and develop a better defensive scheme, we have the players each year.

Sooner Sense... You don't know how good you have it with Stoops and allies. What we like about Stoops and Sooner football is expecting to win and then winning. Mediocrity? Man, you sound like a former AD who just got fired at Nebraska.
