"How do you not look into that option," asked Andy Haggard (who is the chairman of the Board of Trustees for FSU). "On behalf of the Board of Trustees I can say that unanimously we would be in favor of seeing what the Big 12 might have to offer. We have to do what is in Florida State's best interest."

"You could say I'm worried about OU and if they're going to offer me or not," Scott said. "If they don't, I'm going to go beat them. If they do offer me, I'm going to go be the best quarterback I can be for Oklahoma." 2013 QB Brayden Scott who is one of two, possible three, most likely candidates for the Sooners next offer at the position in this recruiting class. Got to love the attitude as the kid clearly isn't afraid of some competition. Personally, I really like when OU goes after kids with this kind of competitive drive. Kind of hopeful he gets that next QB offer. ESPN Elite 11 camp coverage

Just wanted to put up a quick programming note. With Matt and Richard traveling back from Panama, there will not be a podcast tonight. I know we've deprived you of our highly entertaining selves now for two weeks, so we promise to make it up to you next Sunday with an extra special super duper brand new edition! (Or more likely just our normal outstanding performance that you've all become accustomed to)

I know I've talked about how much I enjoy listening to KREF 1400 every day, but I can't stress enough how great this station is for OU fans. To help prove my point and avoid cluttering up the front page, I'm consolidating several of the outstanding interviews KREF has done over the last several days here. If you call yourself an OU fan, I'm not sure how you couldn't find this as interesting as I do. So I hope you enjoy!

Robert Allen, an OSU-centric media personality, says the university should retire the jersey of Page, who ranks first in program history in minutes played and seventh in career points. For what it's worth, Page also is the only player in school history to play on teams that defeated two different schools (Kansas, Missouri) ranked in the top two nationally. Allen, who has reasons other than stats for holding Page in high esteem, isn't the only person on the Page-should-be-honored bandwagon. "Keiton's jersey should be retired and gold-plated," Dave Simms, a Bella Vista, Ark., resident and former Oklahoma high school coach, said in an email to the Tulsa World. "T. Boone (Pickens) should pay for it and present it to him.

The dumbest thing you will ever read Oh and calling Robert Allen an "OSU-centric media personality" is like calling Al Eschbach the sexiest man alive. Blobert Robert is easily the most homeriffic Puke Poke supporter on the planet.

ESPNHS: Which schools have offered you so far and do you have any favorites? Tyrone Swoopes: I've gotten offers from Notre Dame, Stanford, Oregon, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma, Auburn and Alabama. I think Baylor, Oklahoma and Texas are my three favorites right now because I went to their junior days and I enjoyed it. Not sure how much stock I'd put into this today and OU's actual chances of landing the five star QB, but it can't hurt that they seem to have made a good impression during his recent visit. Laith Harlow will receive a medical hardship. He was announced with the class this evening. He just hadn't been cleared by compliance until later in the afternoon because of all the medical issues. But he will be on a medical scholarship. He won't play football.
