Coach Willie Martinez talks about his secondary and how things are progressing so far this spring.
OU WR Dejuan Miller talks about getting back on the football field after suffering a serious knee injury last year.
You're going to need ESPN Insider to read the whole article, but basically Brian Fremeau of Football Outsiders took a look at how teams performed at home compared to how an average team would do in those scenarios. These calculations used FO's FEI formulas. Anyways, the upshot is that Oklahoma comes in 6th place in terms of "best home field advantage", although it's technically "best home field performance" (2003-2010). First place was, you guessed it, Boise State.
Stoops talks to the media after Thursday night's practice.
SB Nation Illinois blog Hail to the Orange has the official statement from Weber today stating that the OU men's basketball head coaching position really sucks he will remain with the Illini.
"A source confirmed Wednesday night that there appears to be mutual interest between OU and the 8-year Illinois coach. It's making a few rounds in the coach carousel industry."

Interesting take on why Geno Auriemma should go coach men's basketball. Of course, the author is from Stanford, UConn's main rival. Maybe he just wants him out of the way!
According to sources, per NewsOK, the previously rumored $3 million buyout appears to be much closer to accurate than first reported. Additionally, it is believed that Marquette is working on a deal to pay Williams as much as $2.4 million per yer. So if you take into account the $2 million for Capel's firing, the now $3 million Buzz buyout, and matching $2.4 million annual salary, that adds up to $7.4 million in year one for a Buzz Williams deal. Really, really hard for me to see Joe C. shelling out that kind of money for a basketball coach. Sadly, it's starting to look like all the rumors about guys passing because they didn't find the job attractive is much closer to the truth than our hope that Joe C. had some trick up his sleeve. I'm starting to get a really bad feeling about this potential hire.
Cool article (besides the grammatical errors) about how the short throw passing game factored into his success on the field. I remember early on in the 2010 football season when Landy Jones received much criticism about how his overall stats failed to give some fans confidence in his ability (I'm guilty). However, it's safe to say I'm a believer nowadays. But moving on to the point, I always wondered what the stats were for short passes because I thought they overinflated his statistics, and interestingly enough, I found an article covering that issue. FYI: It's an ESPiN article by David Ubben
