Oklahoma has always been in the thick of things for five-star corner Jeffrey Okudah, but the Grand Prairie, Texas product made Sooner fans happy on Sunday night.
First OV has been set, Ohio State vs Oklahoma on 9/17! #BoomerSooner

It appears that OU and Ohio State are the two frontrunners to land the kid, so the fact that he’ll be in Norman for this particular game is especially significant. A victory over a top-10 team would be even sweeter if it brought OU closer to landing the No. 5 player in the country. His highlights can be seen here.
Here are some other links to occupy your afternoon
- SB Nation has released the 2016 College Football Preview Magazine, and it includes reasons why to root for OU. The guys have put together a great preview, and everyone should give it a look!
- Bruce Feldman visited Norman last Wednesday, and he came away impressed with Baker Mayfield’s command of the offense.
- ESPN has selected its preseason All-Big 12 team, and eight Sooners have made the cut. Everything pretty much checks out to me, as I don’t see any glaring omissions as far as OU is concerned.
- OU golfer Brad Dalke finished as the runner-up at the U.S. Amateur yesterday, which earns him an automatic spot in the U.S. Open. Additionally, it is customary for the finalists to be invited to The Masters, as well.
Have a great Monday, everyone!
