Yippee! We have a home game on what will essentially serve as Halloween night. Those are always fun! What should I wear? Actually, I may let you readers submit costume ideas, since I always have trouble deciding.
I’m just thankful that we won’t have another early kickoff. Even with it being Homecoming weekend, an 11 a.m. kickoff would be a tough sell for fans of all ages.
One other thought: There’s a very legitimate chance of this being the game in which Samaje Perine breaks the OU career rushing record. How appropriate would it be for him to break the record against the same team that allowed him to break the NCAA record for yards in a single game two years ago? Poor Kansas... Never mind.
