I will admit this one surprises me, but according to Gerry Hamilton of ESPN.com the Sooners are interested in Texas A&M Quarterback Kyle Allen. Here is the tweet:
Been told #Oklahoma #Sooners will have interest in former Texas A&M QB Kyle Allen.

Kyle Allen is a former 5 star QB who had fallen out of favor with A&M and true freshman Kyler Murray. Allen earlier this evening declared his intent to transfer with the following tweet.

Allen was granted a release and will transfer immediately. The timing with him and Baker Mayfield could work well as he could redshirt next season while Baker plays out his final year of eligibility. Allen would then have two years to start at OU.
Allen has thrown for 3532 yards and 33 touchdowns in his two years at A&M.
