Sooners Scoring Again in New Orleans?

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

New Orleans has been good to Oklahoma as of late. With a dominant win over Alabama and the commitment of Joseph Paul, it appears that the Sooners are not done yet, as they turn once again to New Orleans to finish out the 2014 DL class.

This weekend OU will host Courtney Garnett (a teammate of Joseph Paul). Garnett is 6'2" 280 lbs. and is a 3 star recruit on both Rivals and 247sports. But don't let the 3 star ranking fool you. Garnett, who was recently offered by OU, has also picked up offers from Tennessee, Oregon, and USC in the past few weeks. If all goes according to plan, Garnett could become a part of the class of 2014. In fact I would call his commitment almost certain. Garnett has been very open about his excitement about his offer and potential future as a Sooner on twitter.

Here is a short look at the player that OU could easily find himself a part of the 2014 class. (I'm not sure of the competition in the video below but Garnett plays with a super nasty streak)

Garnett would be a welcome addition to the 2014 class.
