Welp, that didn't take very long.
According to multiple reports Friday night, Oklahoma head baseball coach Sunny Golloway has accepted the same position at Auburn.
As we told you earlier in the day, Golloway and his family were in Alabama on Friday and evidently he heard and/or saw everything he needed to make the switch.
Auburn got the big name they were after and now this Oklahoma baseball program is borderline reeling. Like him or not, Golloway has been a fixture within this program and in this area for a long time. Replacing him won't be easy, especially when you consider some of the likely reasons believed to have played a role in his decision to leave.
1. The level of facilities in Norman.
2. Fan support.
We'll have more for you once the details of his departure and deal with Auburn become public. For now, it's time to start considering possible replacements.
