Oklahoma's Jonathan Gray Earns Weekly Conference Award Three Times In Four Weeks

Oklahoma's baseball team has had players earn weekly conference awards seven times this season and pitcher Jonathan Gray now accounts for three of those.

Gray opened up the Kansas series last Friday by striking out a career-high twelve batters in a complete game performance. He allowed just one run to score, on two hits, in Oklahoma's 12-1 win to improve his season record to 5-1. On Monday he was named the Big 12's Pitcher of the Week. Gray has an ERA of 1.34 and leads the Big 12 in strikeouts (63) and innings pitched (53.2)

Gray also won the award in back-to-back weeks on March 11th and 18th. He is joined by Matt Oberste (twice), Dillon Overton and Jacob Evans in winning weekly conference awards.
