The Oklahoma football program announced on Thursday afternoon their decision to push back the start of spring practice. The first practice had originally been scheduled for March 6th, but that will now take place on Saturday, March 9th.

There has been no indication that this change will affect the annual Spring Game which is still scheduled to take place on April 13th.

In recruiting related news, the first practice date of March 9th now coincides with Oklahoma's second planned Junior Day.
