Oklahoma took the first of a four game series against Hofstra on Friday when they scored a 10-4 victory a L. Dale Mitchell Park. The two teams will square off once again, in a double-header, giving the Sooners the opportunity to take the series.

The first pitch on Saturday is set to be thrown out at 1:00 with the second game to follow (beginning around 4:00). The opening game will feature Oklahoma's Jonathan Gray against Hofstra's John Tiedemann. Gray was 8-4 last year with a 3.32 ERA while Tiedemann was 7-5 with a 5.13 ERA. Both pitchers are right handers.

The second game of the afternoon will give Oklahoma fans their fist look at new transfer (and lefty) Billy Waltrip as he takes on Nick Kozlowski who went 2-0 last season with a 3.95 ERA.

The final game in the series is set for 1:00 tomorrow afternoon.
