Billy Waltrip steps into a weekend starting role after transferring from Seminole State. He went 7-2 last year with 95 strikeouts and a 1.60 ERA. He will be Oklahoma's Sunday starter and will have the luxury of following up Dillon Overton and Jonathan Gray.
Game for of this weekend's series will feature true freshman Corey Copping taking the mound for the Sooners. A 6-1/175 righty out of Temple City, California, Copping will most likely be used as a mid-week starter this season.
